Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 1

Bhagavad Gita 1.19

स घोषो धार्तराष्ट्राणां हृदयानि व्यदारयत्। नभश्च पृथिवीं चैव तुमुलो व्यनुनादयन्॥

sa ghoṣho dhārtarāṣhṭrāṇāṁ hṛidayāni vyadārayat nabhaśhcha pṛithivīṁ chaiva tumulo nunādayan

Translation

That tumultuous uproar rent the hearts of the sons of Dhritarâshtra, filling the earth and sky with sound.

What it means

The Pandava sound fills earth and sky and "rent the hearts" of Dhritarashtra's sons. Before a single arrow flies, the battle of morale is decided. Conviction itself is a weapon; the side that doubts has already begun to lose.

Try this today

The same sound that energises one side demoralises the other. Momentum is emotional before it is physical.

Something to reflect on

What emotional 'sound' surrounds my projects - energising or demoralising?
