Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 12

Bhagavad Gita 12.9

Translation

And if thou art not able firmly to fix thy mind on Me, then by the yoga of practice seek to reach Me, O Dhananjaya.

What it means

If you cannot fix your mind steadily on Me, then seek to reach Me by the yoga of repeated practice. The ladder's first rung is practice. Failure to focus is not disqualification; it is the starting condition.

Try this today

First fallback: if direct fixation is too hard, practice repeatedly. Repetition substitutes for capacity.

Something to reflect on

If I cannot fix my mind directly, am I willing to just repeat?
