Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 14

Bhagavad Gita 14.4

सर्वयोनिषु कौन्तेय मूर्तयः सम्भवन्ति याः।तासां ब्रह्म महद्योनिरहं बीजप्रदः पिता॥

sarva-yoniṣhu kaunteya mūrtayaḥ sambhavanti yāḥ tāsāṁ brahma mahad yonir ahaṁ bīja-pradaḥ pitā

Translation

In whatsoever wombs mortals are produced, O Kaunteya, the great Eternal is their womb, I their generating father.

What it means

Whatever forms are born in any wombs, the great Eternal is their womb and I am the seed-giving father. Every birth has the same two parents. Kinship with the Divine is not metaphor but origin.

Try this today

Universal paternity stated: every birth, without exception, shares the same two parents.

Something to reflect on

If every birth has the same two parents, what family quarrel is even possible?
