Bhagavad Gita 18.64

सर्वगुह्यतमं भूयः श्रृणु मे परमं वचः।इष्टोऽसि मे दृढमिति ततो वक्ष्यामि ते हितम्॥

sarva-guhyatamaṁ bhūyaḥ śhṛiṇu me paramaṁ vachaḥ iṣhṭo ‘si me dṛiḍham iti tato vakṣhyāmi te hitam

Translation

Listen thou again to My supreme word, most secret of all; beloved art thou of Me, and steadfast of heart, therefore will I speak for thy benefit.

What it means

Hear again My supreme word, the most secret of all: you are dearly beloved of Me, so I will speak for your good. The final teaching is prefaced by love. What follows is said because of who Arjuna is to Krishna.

Try this today

The postlude begins: one more word, given because of love, not need.

Something to reflect on

What truth have I earned hearing because of who I am to someone?
