Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 3

Bhagavad Gita 3.11

देवान्भावयतानेन ते देवा भावयन्तु वः। परस्परं भावयन्तः श्रेयः परमवाप्स्यथ॥

devān bhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ parasparaṁ bhāvayantaḥ śhreyaḥ param avāpsyatha

Translation

"With this nourish ye the Shining Ones, and may the Shining Ones nourish you; thus nourishing one another ye shall reap the supremest good.

What it means

Nourish the powers of the world and let them nourish you; supporting one another, all reach the highest good. Reciprocity is cosmic law. What feeds the whole feeds you.

Try this today

Reciprocity as cosmic economics: the giving-receiving cycle sustains both sides.

Something to reflect on

What sustains me that I never nourish back?
