Bhagavad Gita 1.11
अयनेषु च सर्वेषु यथाभागमवस्थिताः। भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु भवन्तः सर्व एव हि॥
ayaneṣhu cha sarveṣhu yathā-bhāgamavasthitāḥ bhīṣhmamevābhirakṣhantu bhavantaḥ sarva eva hi
Translation
Therefore in the rank and file let all, standing firmly in their respective divisions, guard Bhîshma, even all ye generals.
What it means
He orders all his generals to hold their positions and protect Bhishma above all. The instruction reveals where his confidence actually rests: not in himself, but in the grandsire. When a cause leans on a single pillar, guarding that pillar becomes the whole strategy.
Try this today
When a plan rests on protecting one irreplaceable person, that is a fragility, not a strength.
Something to reflect on
What single point of failure am I quietly depending on?
