Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 10

Bhagavad Gita 10.28

आयुधानामहं वज्रं धेनूनामस्मि कामधुक्। प्रजनश्चास्मि कन्दर्पः सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकिः॥

āyudhānām ahaṁ vajraṁ dhenūnām asmi kāmadhuk prajanaśh chāsmi kandarpaḥ sarpāṇām asmi vāsukiḥ

Translation

Of weapons I am the thunderbolt; of cows I am Kâmadhuk; I am Kandarpa of the progenitors; of serpents Vâsuki am I.

What it means

Among weapons, the thunderbolt; among cows, the wish-fulfilling Kamadhuk; among causes of offspring, love; among serpents, Vasuki. Force, abundance, desire and danger are all included. Nothing powerful is outside the reckoning.

Try this today

Force, abundance, generation - the peaks again.

Something to reflect on

Which strong force in me - force, appetite, desire - do I treat as outside the reckoning?
