Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 10

Bhagavad Gita 10.3

यो मामजमनादिं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम्। असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते॥

yo māmajam anādiṁ cha vetti loka-maheśhvaram asammūḍhaḥ sa martyeṣhu sarva-pāpaiḥ pramuchyate

Translation

He who knoweth Me, unborn, beginningless, the great Lord of the world, he among mortals without delusion, is liberated from all sin.

What it means

Who knows Me as unborn, beginningless, the great Lord of the world, is undeluded among mortals and freed from all sins. Knowing the beginninglessness of the Divine resets everything else. Delusion ends at the correct first principle.

Try this today

The liberating recognition summarized: unborn, first, Lord. Understanding, not ritual, does the freeing.

Something to reflect on

Which of my first principles, corrected, would quietly free the rest of my thinking?
