Bhagavad Gita 11.19
अनादिमध्यान्तमनन्तवीर्य मनन्तबाहुं शशिसूर्यनेत्रम्। पश्यामि त्वां दीप्तहुताशवक्त्रम् स्वतेजसा विश्वमिदं तपन्तम्॥
anādi-madhyāntam anantavīryam anantabāhuṁ śhaśhisūryanetram paśhyāmi tvāṁ dīptahutāśhavaktraṁ svatejasā viśhvamidaṁ tapantam
Translation
Nor source, nor midst, nor end; infinite force, Unnumbered arms, the sun and moon Thine eyes I see Thy face, as sacrificial fire Blazing, its splendour burneth up the worlds.
What it means
Without beginning, middle or end, of infinite power, of countless arms, sun and moon Your eyes, Your face a blazing sacrificial fire, heating the universe with Your radiance. The cosmos becomes the body. Warmth itself is now worshipful and terrible.
Try this today
Time, force and fire fused: the vision turns from beautiful to overwhelming.
Something to reflect on
When has warmth become terrible - the same force, another face?
