The Gita · Chapter 12

Bhagavad Gita 12.3

ये त्वक्षरमनिर्देश्यमव्यक्तं पर्युपासते।सर्वत्रगमचिन्त्यं च कूटस्थमचलं ध्रुवम्॥

ye tvakṣaramanirdeśyamavyaktaṃ paryupāsate sarvatragamacintyaṃ ca kūṭasthamacalaṃ dhruvam

Translation

They who worship the Indestructible, the Ineffable, the unmanifested, Omnipresent, and Unthinkable, the Unchanging, Immutable, Eternal,

What it means

Those who worship the indestructible, indefinable, unmanifest, omnipresent, unthinkable, unchanging, immovable, eternal: the formless path is honored in its own vocabulary. Every adjective removes a handle the mind might grip.

Try this today

The formless path described in its own full terms - honored, not dismissed.

Something to reflect on

Can I honor a practice whose object has no handle for my mind to grip?
