The Gita · Chapter 12

Bhagavad Gita 12.7

तेषामहं समुद्धर्ता मृत्युसंसारसागरात्।भवामि नचिरात्पार्थ मय्यावेशितचेतसाम्॥

teṣhām ahaṁ samuddhartā mṛityu-saṁsāra-sāgarāt bhavāmi na chirāt pārtha mayy āveśhita-chetasām

Translation

These I speedily lift up from the ocean of death and existence, O Pârtha, their minds being fixed on Me.

What it means

For them, whose minds are absorbed in Me, I quickly become the rescuer from the ocean of death and rebirth. The promise is speed and personal rescue. What the path lacks in austerity it gains in assistance.

Try this today

The rescue promise: speed is specified - 'speedily' - for the fully oriented heart.

Something to reflect on

When has help arrived quickly once my orientation became total?
