Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 13

Bhagavad Gita 13.15

बहिरन्तश्च भूतानामचरं चरमेव च।सूक्ष्मत्वात्तदविज्ञेयं दूरस्थं चान्तिके च तत्॥

bahir antaśh cha bhūtānām acharaṁ charam eva cha sūkṣhmatvāt tad avijñeyaṁ dūra-sthaṁ chāntike cha tat

Translation

Without and within all beings, immovable and also movable; by reason of His subtlety imperceptible; at hand and far away is That.

What it means

Outside and inside all beings, unmoving and moving, imperceptible through subtlety, far and near. Every spatial contrast fails to locate it. It is the nearest thing you have and the least graspable.

Try this today

Nearer than near, farther than far - the location riddle of the knowable.

Something to reflect on

What is the nearest thing about me that I have never once perceived directly?
