Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 13

Bhagavad Gita 13.16

अविभक्तं च भूतेषु विभक्तमिव च स्थितम्।भूतभर्तृ च तज्ज्ञेयं ग्रसिष्णु प्रभविष्णु च॥

avibhaktaṁ cha bhūteṣhu vibhaktam iva cha sthitam bhūta-bhartṛi cha taj jñeyaṁ grasiṣhṇu prabhaviṣhṇu cha

Translation

Not divided amid beings, and yet seated distributively; that is to be known as the supporter of beings; He devours and He generates.

What it means

Undivided among beings, yet appearing divided; know it as the sustainer of beings: it devours and it generates. Unity wears the appearance of multiplicity. Creation and destruction are its breathing.

Try this today

One light, many lamps: undivided in itself, apparently divided in its dwellings.

Something to reflect on

Can I see one light wearing many lamps without needing the lamps to agree?
