Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 13

Bhagavad Gita 13.28

Translation

Seeing indeed everywhere the same Lord equally dwelling, he doth not destroy the Self, and thus treads the highest Path.

What it means

Seeing the same Lord equally present everywhere, one does not degrade the Self, and so reaches the highest goal. Self-harm is redefined: to treat any being as less than sacred is to injure one's own deepest identity.

Try this today

Equal vision as self-protection: harming another is harming the one Self.

Something to reflect on

If harming another is harming the one Self, what does my gossip cost me?
