The Gita · Chapter 13

Bhagavad Gita 13.30

यदा भूतपृथग्भावमेकस्थमनुपश्यति।तत एव च विस्तारं ब्रह्म सम्पद्यते तदा॥

yadā bhūta-pṛithag-bhāvam eka-stham anupaśhyati tata eva cha vistāraṁ brahma sampadyate tadā

Translation

When he perceiveth the diversified existence of beings as rooted in One, and spreading forth from it, then he reacheth the Eternal

What it means

When one perceives the varied states of beings as rooted in the One, and their expansion as from That, one attains the Eternal. Multiplicity traced back to source becomes vision. The many is the One, displayed.

Try this today

Multiplicity traced to a single root: that perception itself is arrival.

Something to reflect on

Can I trace the many things in my life back to one root today?
