The Gita · Chapter 15

Bhagavad Gita 15.17

उत्तमः पुरुषस्त्वन्यः परमात्मेत्युदाहृतः।यो लोकत्रयमाविश्य बिभर्त्यव्यय ईश्वरः॥

uttamaḥ puruṣhas tv anyaḥ paramātmety udāhṛitaḥ yo loka-trayam āviśhya bibharty avyaya īśhvaraḥ

Translation

The highest Energy is verily Another, declared as the Supreme Self, He who, pervading all, sustaineth the three worlds, the indestructible Lord.

What it means

But the highest Spirit is another, called the supreme Self, who, entering the three worlds, sustains them, the indestructible Lord. Sastri: supreme over the selves set up by avidya, the unfailing Inner Consciousness of all beings. One tradition's reading, not cross-tradition verified.

Try this today

Beyond both the changing and the changeless: the third, the sustainer of all.

Something to reflect on

What sustains my world from beyond both the changing and the changeless?
