Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 18

Bhagavad Gita 18.40

न तदस्ति पृथिव्यां वा दिवि देवेषु वा पुनः।सत्त्वं प्रकृतिजैर्मुक्तं यदेभिः स्यात्ित्रभिर्गुणैः॥

na tad asti pṛithivyāṁ vā divi deveṣhu vā punaḥ sattvaṁ prakṛiti-jair muktaṁ yad ebhiḥ syāt tribhir guṇaiḥ

Translation

There is not an entity, either on the earth or again in heaven among the Shining Ones, that is liberated from these three qualities, born of Matter.

What it means

There is no being on earth or in heaven that is free from these three gunas born of nature. The taxonomy is total. No one is exempt; the only freedom is through them, not around them.

Try this today

The universal scope: everything manifest runs on the three modes - no exceptions anywhere.

Something to reflect on

If nothing is exempt from the three modes, what am I waiting to become exempt from?
