Bhagavad Gita 5.11
कायेन मनसा बुद्ध्या केवलैरिन्द्रियैरपि। योगिनः कर्म कुर्वन्ति सङ्गं त्यक्त्वाऽऽत्मशुद्धये॥
kāyena manasā buddhyā kevalair indriyair api yoginaḥ karma kurvanti saṅgaṁ tyaktvātma-śhuddhaye
Translation
Yogis, having abandoned attachment, perform action only by the body, by the mind, by the Reason, and even by the senses, for the purification of the self.
What it means
Yogis act with body, mind, intellect and senses alone, attachment abandoned, for self-purification. Action becomes hygiene. The work is done for what it cleans, not for what it earns.
Try this today
Every faculty keeps working; only the motive is replaced. Purification, not profit, becomes the engine.
Something to reflect on
What if the point of today's work is what it cleans in me, not what it earns?
