Bhagavad Gita 5.19
इहैव तैर्जितः सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मनः। निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्माद्ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिताः॥
ihaiva tair jitaḥ sargo yeṣhāṁ sāmye sthitaṁ manaḥ nirdoṣhaṁ hi samaṁ brahma tasmād brahmaṇi te sthitāḥ
Translation
Even here on earth everything is overcome by those whose mind remains balanced; the Eternal is incorruptible and balanced; therefore they are established in the Eternal.
What it means
Even here on earth, existence is conquered by those whose minds rest in equality; the Eternal is flawless and equal, so they abide in the Eternal. Equality is not merely an ethic; it is described as the texture of reality itself.
Try this today
Evenness of mind is not a consolation prize; it is declared to be victory, available in this life.
Something to reflect on
If evenness were the victory itself, how would today's score read?
