Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 5

Bhagavad Gita 5.5

यत्सांख्यैः प्राप्यते स्थानं तद्योगैरपि गम्यते। एकं सांख्यं च योगं च यः पश्यति स पश्यति॥

yat sānkhyaiḥ prāpyate sthānaṁ tad yogair api gamyate ekaṁ sānkhyaṁ cha yogaṁ cha yaḥ paśhyati sa paśhyati

Translation

That place which is gained by the Sânkhyas is reached by the Yogîs also. He seeth, who seeth that the Sânkhya and the Yoga are one.

What it means

The state reached by the knowers is also reached by the yogis of action; one truly sees who sees Sankhya and Yoga as one. Knowledge and action are two descriptions of the same summit.

Try this today

Same summit, two trails. Seeing their unity is itself a mark of understanding.

Something to reflect on

Do I insist my way is the way, or can I see the same summit from another trail?
