The Gita · Chapter 6

Bhagavad Gita 6.31

सर्वभूतस्थितं यो मां भजत्येकत्वमास्थितः। सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि स योगी मयि वर्तते॥

sarva-bhūta-sthitaṁ yo māṁ bhajatyekatvam āsthitaḥ sarvathā vartamāno ’pi sa yogī mayi vartate

Translation

He who, established in unity, worshippeth Me abiding in all beings, that Yogi liveth in Me, whatever his mode of living.

What it means

Established in unity, who worships Me dwelling in all beings lives in Me, whatever their way of life. Circumstances no longer define the person. One can live anywhere and remain at home in the Divine.

Try this today

The lifestyle exemption: unity of vision sanctifies any outward mode of living.

Something to reflect on

Does my vision of unity depend on my circumstances being right?
