Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 7

Bhagavad Gita 7.21

यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्तः श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति। तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम्॥

yo yo yāṁ yāṁ tanuṁ bhaktaḥ śhraddhayārchitum ichchhati tasya tasyāchalāṁ śhraddhāṁ tām eva vidadhāmyaham

Translation

Any devotee who seeketh to worship with faith any such aspect, I verily bestow the unswerving faith of that man.

What it means

Whatever form a devotee wishes to worship with faith, I make that faith of theirs unwavering. Faith itself is said to be divinely supported. Sincerity, wherever aimed, is strengthened from the one source.

Try this today

A generous mechanics: sincere faith in any form is itself sustained by the one reality behind all forms.

Something to reflect on

When has my sincere faith in anything been strengthened beyond my own willpower?
