Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 7

Bhagavad Gita 7.25

नाहं प्रकाशः सर्वस्य योगमायासमावृतः। मूढोऽयं नाभिजानाति लोको मामजमव्ययम्॥

nāhaṁ prakāśhaḥ sarvasya yoga-māyā-samāvṛitaḥ mūḍho ’yaṁ nābhijānāti loko mām ajam avyayam

Translation

Nor am I of all discovered, enveloped in My creation-illusion. This deluded world knoweth Me not, the unborn, the imperishable.

What it means

I am not revealed to everyone, veiled by My creative illusion; this deluded world does not know Me, the unborn, the imperishable. The concealment is deliberate, not a failure of evidence. Reality is hidden by its own abundance.

Try this today

The concealment is part of the design: the obvious is veiled by the very world it sustains.

Something to reflect on

What is hidden from me precisely by its abundance?
