The Gita · Chapter 7

Bhagavad Gita 7.28

येषां त्वन्तगतं पापं जनानां पुण्यकर्मणाम्। ते द्वन्द्वमोहनिर्मुक्ता भजन्ते मां दृढव्रताः॥

yeṣhāṁ tvanta-gataṁ pāpaṁ janānāṁ puṇya-karmaṇām te dvandva-moha-nirmuktā bhajante māṁ dṛiḍha-vratāḥ

Translation

But those men of pure deeds, in whom sin is come to an end, they, freed from the delusive pairs of opposites, worship Me, steadfast in vows.

What it means

But those of pure deeds, whose sin has ended, freed from the deluding pairs, worship Me with firm resolve. Purification precedes steadiness. As the noise clears, devotion becomes constant.

Try this today

The exit condition: purification ends the see-saw, and steady devotion becomes possible.

Something to reflect on

What noise would have to clear before my commitments could go steady?
