The Gita · Chapter 8

Bhagavad Gita 8.14

अनन्यचेताः सततं यो मां स्मरति नित्यशः। तस्याहं सुलभः पार्थ नित्ययुक्तस्य योगिनः॥

ananya-chetāḥ satataṁ yo māṁ smarati nityaśhaḥ tasyāhaṁ sulabhaḥ pārtha nitya-yuktasya yoginaḥ

Translation

He who constantly thinketh upon Me, not thinking ever of another, of him I am easily reached, O Pârtha, of this ever-harmonised Yogî.

What it means

Whoever remembers Me constantly, thinking of nothing else, for that ever-harmonized yogi I am easy to reach. Ease is promised to consistency. The difficulty is not distance but distraction.

Try this today

The astonishing promise: constancy makes the highest 'easy to reach' - accessibility through repetition.

Something to reflect on

What do I do so constantly that it has become easy?
