The Gita · Chapter 9

Bhagavad Gita 9.10

मयाऽध्यक्षेण प्रकृतिः सूयते सचराचरम्। हेतुनाऽनेन कौन्तेय जगद्विपरिवर्तते॥

mayādhyakṣheṇa prakṛitiḥ sūyate sa-charācharam hetunānena kaunteya jagad viparivartate

Translation

Under Me as supervisor, Nature sends forth the moving and unmoving: because of this, O Kaunteya, the universe revolves.

What it means

With Me as overseer, nature produces the moving and the unmoving; for this reason the world revolves. Nature works; the Divine presides. Agency is delegated, presence is total.

Try this today

Nature works; the divine presides. The machine runs under a witness.

Something to reflect on

Where do I over-manage what merely needs my witness?
