Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 9

Bhagavad Gita 9.5

Translation

Nor have beings root in Me; behold My sovereign Yoga! The support of beings, yet not rooted in beings, My Self their efficient cause.

What it means

And yet beings are not in Me: behold My divine mystery. I sustain beings, yet am not lodged in them; My Self is their very source. The paradox is deliberate: closer than contact, yet utterly unentangled.

Try this today

The paradox stated openly: closer than everything, contained by nothing.

Something to reflect on

Can something be closer than contact yet never entangled - have I known a love like that?
