Bhagavad Gita 9.8
प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः। भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात्॥
prakṛitiṁ svām avaṣhṭabhya visṛijāmi punaḥ punaḥ bhūta-grāmam imaṁ kṛitsnam avaśhaṁ prakṛiter vaśhāt
Translation
Hidden in Nature, which is mine own, I emanate again and again all this multitude of beings, helpless, by the force of Nature.
What it means
Leaning on My own nature, I send forth again and again this whole multitude of beings, born helplessly by nature's force. Creation is recurrent and impersonal at the level of the many. Only knowledge individualizes the way out.
Try this today
Creation described as effortless repetition by a source that never strains.
Something to reflect on
Where do I strain at what could be effortless repetition?
