The Gita · Chapter 10

Bhagavad Gita 10.12

परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान्। पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यमादिदेवमजं विभुम्॥

arjuna uvācha paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān puruṣhaṁ śhāśhvataṁ divyam ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum

Translation

Arjuna said: Thou art the supreme Eternal, the supreme Abode, the supreme Purity, eternal divine man, primeval Deity, unborn, the Lord!

What it means

Arjuna responds: You are the supreme Eternal, the supreme abode, the supreme purity, the eternal divine Person, the primal God, the unborn, the all-pervading Lord. The student now stacks every title he knows. Recognition has begun.

Try this today

Arjuna's acknowledgment begins: the student names what he has understood in full vocabulary.

Something to reflect on

Can I name what I hold highest in full vocabulary, out loud?
