The Gita · Chapter 10

Bhagavad Gita 10.19

हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि दिव्या ह्यात्मविभूतयः। प्राधान्यतः कुरुश्रेष्ठ नास्त्यन्तो विस्तरस्य मे॥

śhrī bhagavān uvācha hanta te kathayiṣhyāmi divyā hyātma-vibhūtayaḥ prādhānyataḥ kuru-śhreṣhṭha nāstyanto vistarasya me

Translation

The Blessed Lord said: Blessed be thou! I will declare to thee My divine glory by its chief characteristics, O best of the Kurus; there is no end to details of Me.

What it means

Krishna answers: I will tell you My divine glories by their chief marks, best of the Kurus, for there is no end to My detail. The infinite must be sampled, not listed. A selection of the best will stand for the whole.

Try this today

The answer comes as a catalog of peaks - the best of every category as a window into the whole.

Something to reflect on

If I could only show someone my life through its peaks, which instances would I choose?
