Bhagavad Gita 10.41

यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा। तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसंभवम्॥

yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṁ śhrīmad ūrjitam eva vā tat tad evāvagachchha tvaṁ mama tejo ’nśha-sambhavam

Translation

Whatsoever is glorious, good, beautiful, and mighty, understand thou that to go forth from a fragment of My splendour.

What it means

Whatever is glorious, beautiful or mighty, know that it springs from a fragment of My splendor. Every impressive thing is a spark. Wonder is the correct response to the world.

Try this today

The takeaway rule: excellence anywhere is a spark of the one fire. Read the world accordingly.

Something to reflect on

What excellence did I witness today, and did I follow it to its source?
