The Gita · Chapter 11

Bhagavad Gita 11.2

भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया। त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम्॥

bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṁ śhrutau vistaraśho mayā tvattaḥ kamala-patrākṣha māhātmyam api chāvyayam

Translation

The production and destruction of beings have been heard by me in detail from Thee, O Lotus-eyed, and also Thy imperishable greatness.

What it means

From You I have heard in detail of the origin and dissolution of beings, and of Your imperishable majesty. Hearing has been honored; now a deeper request forms. Knowledge is about to request sight.

Try this today

What he has grasped so far: process and source, both from the teacher directly.

Something to reflect on

What have I only heard about that I am ready to ask to see?
