Bhagavad Gita 11.37

कस्माच्च ते न नमेरन्महात्मन् गरीयसे ब्रह्मणोऽप्यादिकर्त्रे। अनन्त देवेश जगन्निवास त्वमक्षरं सदसत्तत्परं यत्॥

kasmāch cha te na nameran mahātman garīyase brahmaṇo ’py ādi-kartre ananta deveśha jagan-nivāsa tvam akṣharaṁ sad-asat tat paraṁ yat

Translation

How should they otherwise, O loftiest Self! First Cause! Brahmâ Himself less great than Thou. Infinite, God of Gods, home of all worlds, Unperishing, Sat, Asat, That supreme!

What it means

And why should they not bow, O great Self, greater than the maker, the origin even of Brahma, infinite, Lord of gods, home of the worlds, the imperishable, being, non-being, and That beyond both? Bowing is argued as simple logic. Every category, including existence itself, is beneath this One.

Try this today

The logic of worship: greater than the creator, the container of every category.

Something to reflect on

What do I bow to simply because logic leaves no higher place?
