Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 12

Bhagavad Gita 12.19

तुल्यनिन्दास्तुतिर्मौनी सन्तुष्टो येनकेनचित्।अनिकेतः स्थिरमतिर्भक्ितमान्मे प्रियो नरः॥

tulya-nindā-stutir maunī santuṣhṭo yena kenachit aniketaḥ sthira-matir bhaktimān me priyo naraḥ

Translation

Taking equally praise and reproach, silent, wholly content with what cometh, homeless, firm in mind, full of devotion, that man is dear to Me.

What it means

Equal toward blame and praise, silent, content with anything, homeless, steady-minded, full of devotion: that person is dear to Me. Rootedness in God replaces rootedness in place. Home is portable when it is internal.

Try this today

The profile completed: unmoved by verdicts, content with arrivals, rooted in nothing external.

Something to reflect on

If home were internal, what would I no longer need from place or praise?
