Bhagavad Gita 12.20

ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते।श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः॥

ye tu dharmyāmṛitam idaṁ yathoktaṁ paryupāsate śhraddadhānā mat-paramā bhaktās te ’tīva me priyāḥ

Translation

They verily who partake of this life-giving wisdom as taught herein, endued with faith, I their supreme Object, devotees, they are surpassingly dear to Me.

What it means

Those who follow this nectar of dharma as declared, with faith, holding Me as their supreme goal: such devotees are exceedingly dear to Me. The chapter closes on the word "dear," repeated throughout. The entire teaching of twelve chapters is summarized as a love relationship.

Try this today

Chapter 12 closes: the whole chapter is itself the nectar; those who drink it are the beloved.

Something to reflect on

What teaching would I call nectar - the thing I would actually drink daily?
