Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 14

Bhagavad Gita 14.15

रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते।तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते॥

rajasi pralayaṁ gatvā karma-saṅgiṣhu jāyate tathā pralīnas tamasi mūḍha-yoniṣhu jāyate

Translation

Having gone to dissolution in Motion, he is born among those attached to action; if dissolved in Inertia, he is born in the wombs of the senseless.

What it means

Dissolving in rajas, one is born among those attached to action; dissolving in tamas, one is born in the wombs of the deluded. The afterlife follows momentum. Where a life was pointed is where it arrives.

Try this today

Rajas returns to busyness; tamas sinks to fog. The mode becomes the address.

Something to reflect on

Where does my current momentum point - more busyness or more fog?
