The Gita · Chapter 15

Bhagavad Gita 15.10

उत्क्रामन्तं स्थितं वापि भुञ्जानं वा गुणान्वितम्।विमूढा नानुपश्यन्ति पश्यन्ति ज्ञानचक्षुषः॥

utkrāmantaṁ sthitaṁ vāpi bhuñjānaṁ vā guṇānvitam vimūḍhā nānupaśhyanti paśhyanti jñāna-chakṣhuṣhaḥ

Translation

The deluded do not perceive (Him) when He departeth or stayeth or enjoyeth, swayed by the qualities; the wisdom-eyed perceive.

What it means

The deluded do not perceive the soul departing, staying or experiencing, under the sway of the gunas; those with the eye of wisdom perceive. The drama of embodiment is invisible to most. A different kind of sight is required to watch the watcher.

Try this today

The whole drama is invisible to most: only trained sight watches the resident come, stay and go.

Something to reflect on

Have I ever watched the watcher - arriving, staying, leaving?
