Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 15

Bhagavad Gita 15.13

गामाविश्य च भूतानि धारयाम्यहमोजसा।पुष्णामि चौषधीः सर्वाः सोमो भूत्वा रसात्मकः॥

gām āviśhya cha bhūtāni dhārayāmy aham ojasā puṣhṇāmi chauṣhadhīḥ sarvāḥ somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ

Translation

Permeating the soil, I support beings by my vital energy, and having become the delicious Soma I nourish all plants.

What it means

Permeating the earth, I sustain all beings with My energy; becoming the nourishing sap, I feed all plants. The Divine is the carrier of vitality in soil and stem. The world's food chain is powered from within.

Try this today

The divine as soil-strength and plant-nourishment: inside the food chain itself.

Something to reflect on

Where does the strength in my daily bread actually come from?
