The Gita · Chapter 15

Bhagavad Gita 15.3

Translation

Nor here may be acquired knowledge of its form, nor its end, nor its origin, nor its rooting-place; this strongly rooted Asvattha having been cut down by the unswerving weapon of non-attachment,

What it means

Its real form is not perceived here, nor its end, beginning or foundation; cutting this deeply rooted Ashvattha with the strong axe of detachment. The tree cannot be out-analyzed, only felled. Detachment is the axe.

Try this today

The remedy for the invisible trap: the axe of detachment - because you cannot untangle a tree you cannot see.

Something to reflect on

What deeply rooted pattern in me cannot be untangled, only cut?
