Bhagavad Gita 18.31
यया धर्ममधर्मं च कार्यं चाकार्यमेव च।अयथावत्प्रजानाति बुद्धिः सा पार्थ राजसी॥
yayā dharmam adharmaṁ cha kāryaṁ chākāryam eva cha ayathāvat prajānāti buddhiḥ sā pārtha rājasī
Translation
That by which one understandeth away Right and Wrong and also what ought to be done and what ought not to be done, that Reason, O Pârtha, is passionate.
What it means
That by which one understands wrongly right and wrong, and what should and should not be done: that intellect is rajasic. The passionate mind confuses its categories. Desire scrambles the compass.
Try this today
Rajasic judgment: the moral compass miscalibrated - systematic misreading.
Something to reflect on
Where does my wanting systematically misread my right and wrong?
