Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 18

Bhagavad Gita 18.32

अधर्मं धर्ममिति या मन्यते तमसाऽऽवृता।सर्वार्थान्विपरीतांश्च बुद्धिः सा पार्थ तामसी॥

adharmaṁ dharmam iti yā manyate tamasāvṛitā sarvārthān viparītānśh cha buddhiḥ sā pārtha tāmasī

Translation

That which, enwrapped in darkness, thinketh wrong to be right and seeth all things subverted, that Reason, O Partha, is of darkness.

What it means

That which, wrapped in darkness, takes wrong for right and sees everything upside down: that intellect is tamasic. The deepest confusion calls evil good. At the bottom of error, the map is inverted.

Try this today

Tamasic judgment: the inverted compass - wrong confidently read as right.

Something to reflect on

What have I confidently inverted - wrong read as right - that I can now see?
