The Gita · Chapter 18

Bhagavad Gita 18.56

सर्वकर्माण्यपि सदा कुर्वाणो मद्व्यपाश्रयः।मत्प्रसादादवाप्नोति शाश्वतं पदमव्ययम्॥

sarva-karmāṇy api sadā kurvāṇo mad-vyapāśhrayaḥ mat-prasādād avāpnoti śhāśhvataṁ padam avyayam

Translation

Though ever performing all actions, taking refuge in Me, by My grace he obtaineth the eternal indestructible abode.

What it means

Ever doing all actions, taking refuge in Me, by My grace one obtains the eternal, imperishable abode. Activity and arrival are reconciled. The refuge, not the stopping, is what saves.

Try this today

Full activity, full refuge: the two never in conflict - grace bridges them.

Something to reflect on

Do I believe refuge and full activity conflict - or has my life proven otherwise?
