sañjaya uvācha taṁ tathā kṛipayāviṣhṭamaśhru pūrṇākulekṣhaṇam viṣhīdantamidaṁ vākyam uvācha madhusūdanaḥ

What it means

Krishna begins to speak to Arjuna, who sits with brimming eyes, overcome by pity. The teacher's first words come only after the student has fully broken down. Real teaching starts where pretense ends.
