Bhagavad Gita 2.54
स्थितप्रज्ञस्य का भाषा समाधिस्थस्य केशव। स्थितधीः किं प्रभाषेत किमासीत व्रजेत किम्॥
arjuna uvācha sthita-prajñasya kā bhāṣhā samādhi-sthasya keśhava sthita-dhīḥ kiṁ prabhāṣheta kim āsīta vrajeta kim
Translation
Arjuna said: What the mark, of him who is stable of mind, steadfast in contemplation, O Keshava? How doth the stable-minded talk, how doth he sit, how walk?
What it means
Arjuna asks the right question: what is the mark of a person of steady wisdom? How do they speak, sit, walk? He wants the teaching embodied, not abstract. Truth should be visible in a life.
Try this today
The perfect student question: show me the phenotype. Asking what wisdom looks like in daily behavior makes it testable.
Something to reflect on
What observable behaviors would prove my practice is working?
