Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 3

Bhagavad Gita 3.26

न बुद्धिभेदं जनयेदज्ञानां कर्मसङ्गिनाम्। जोषयेत्सर्वकर्माणि विद्वान् युक्तः समाचरन्॥

na buddhi-bhedaṁ janayed ajñānāṁ karma-saṅginām joṣhayet sarva-karmāṇi vidvān yuktaḥ samācharan

Translation

Let no wise man unsettle the mind of ignorant people attached to action; but acting in harmony with Me let him render all action attractive.

What it means

The wise should not unsettle the minds of those attached to action; instead, acting with devotion, they should make right action attractive. Do not sneer at simpler faith. Improve the example, not the criticism.

Try this today

Do not yank people off their rung of the ladder; improve the quality of their work from inside it, not by contempt from above.

Something to reflect on

Do I ever destabilize someone's workable path to display my own?
