Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 4

Bhagavad Gita 4.14

Translation

Nor do actions affect Me, nor is the fruit of action desired by Me. He who thus knoweth Me is not bound by actions.

What it means

Actions do not stain Me, nor do I crave the fruit of action; who knows Me thus is not bound by actions. Detachment is possible even while doing everything. The key is the absence of hunger for results.

Try this today

The model of unattached agency: fully causing, never grasping. Knowing this pattern is itself freeing.

Something to reflect on

Could I do everything I do without hungering for any of it?
