Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 4

Bhagavad Gita 4.22

Translation

Content with whatsoever he obtaineth without effort, free from the pairs of opposites, without envy, balanced in success and failure, though acting he is not bound.

What it means

Content with what comes unsought, beyond the dualities, free of envy, equal in success and failure: acting, one is not bound. Four marks of the free actor. None of them requires leaving the world.

Try this today

The practical profile: take what arrives, stop comparing, keep the inner scale level in both outcomes.

Something to reflect on

What unearned good did I receive this month without pausing to notice?
