Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 4

Bhagavad Gita 4.23

गतसङ्गस्य मुक्तस्य ज्ञानावस्थितचेतसः। यज्ञायाचरतः कर्म समग्रं प्रविलीयते॥

gata-saṅgasya muktasya jñānāvasthita-chetasaḥ yajñāyācharataḥ karma samagraṁ pravilīyate

Translation

Of one with attachment dead, harmonious, with his thoughts established in wisdom, his works sacrifices, all action melts away.

What it means

For one whose attachment is gone, who is liberated, whose mind is grounded in knowledge, whose work is sacrifice: all karma dissolves. Offered work evaporates. Nothing sticks to a person who holds nothing.

Try this today

Done as offering, work dissolves rather than accumulates. The same ledger, emptied.

Something to reflect on

What would my ledger look like if my work were offered rather than accumulated?
