The Gita · Chapter 5

Bhagavad Gita 5.7

योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः। सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते॥

yoga-yukto viśhuddhātmā vijitātmā jitendriyaḥ sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate

Translation

He who is harmonised by yoga, the self purified, Self -ruled, the senses subdued, whose Self is the Self of all beings, although acting he is not affected.

What it means

Harmonized by yoga, self-purified, self-ruled, senses subdued, one's Self becomes the Self of all beings; though acting, one is untouched. The fruit of practice is identity with all. Then no action can isolate you again.

Try this today

Identity expanded to all beings removes the very basis of stain: you cannot exploit what is yourself.

Something to reflect on

If everyone I dealt with today were myself, how would my work change?
