The Gita · Chapter 6

Bhagavad Gita 6.28

युञ्जन्नेवं सदाऽऽत्मानं योगी विगतकल्मषः। सुखेन ब्रह्मसंस्पर्शमत्यन्तं सुखमश्नुते॥

yuñjann evaṁ sadātmānaṁ yogī vigata-kalmaṣhaḥ sukhena brahma-sansparśham atyantaṁ sukham aśhnute

Translation

The Yogî who thus, ever harmonising the self, hath put away sin, he easily enjoyeth the infinite bliss of contact with the Eternal.

What it means

Ever harmonizing the self, stainless, the yogi easily enjoys the infinite bliss of contact with the Eternal. Contact with the infinite is described as easy once the static clears. The difficulty was never the distance.

Try this today

Sustained practice makes the highest contact effortless - 'easily' is the remarkable word.

Something to reflect on

What if the difficulty is static, not distance?
